typically is hot,
with highs of 90-110 F (32-43 F)
and lows of 70-90 F.
Buildings on the OU Norman campus
are all air conditioned,
and may be uncomfortably cool, or uncomfortably warm,
for some attendees.
We recommend dressing in layers,
and bringing a jacket, sweater or sweatshirt.
Clothing:
We recommend dressing in layers.
Expect to dress light enough for being outdoors a little
but in an air conditioned classroom a lot.
The classroom may be a bit ccol, or a bit warm, or just right.

to the workshop venue.

As you drive out of the OKC airport,
look for the on-ramp to I-44
on your right.
There's only one such on-ramp,
which is actually I-44 westbound.
-
After you've been on I-44 W for
a few miles,
you'll come to a fork between I-44 W
and I-44 E.
Stay on I-44 W on the right side.
-
You'll come to a major curve.
DON'T take the I-44 W exit;
instead,
stay on the same road,
which will become I-240 E
(go figure).

After several miles,
take the I-35 S exit
(toward Dallas).
-
Follow I-35 S out of Oklahoma City,
through Moore,
and into Norman.

BE ALERT!
I-35 in Norman is undergoing a lot of construction,
specifically around the exit we want you to take.

From I-35, take the OK Hwy 9 eastbound exit
(exit #108).
As you come to the end of the exit ramp,
there's a gas station on your left,
on the northwest corner
of OK Hwy 9 and 24th Ave SW.

Take OK Hwy 9 eastbound a few miles,
crossing traffic signals at
24th Ave SW, McGee, Imhoff, Chautauqua,
Jenkins and 12th Ave SE.

Get into the right hand (southmost) lane.
-
Take the US Hwy 77 Norman/Purcell exit on your
right hand (south) side.
-
At the bottom of the exit,
turn right (northbound) onto Classen Blvd.

across from the OU Swim Center and close to Timberdell Rd.

STUDENT MOVE-IN:
Wed Aug 8 is a student move-in day.
Find a map of the move-in traffic routing plan

You should be able to park in any spot in that lot,
which is across Asp Ave from the OU Swim Center
and close to Timberdell Rd.
OU Parking Services
has assured us that parking won't be
enforced at either SRTC or the CCE Forum
on our dates.
But, if you get a ticket, please let us know
and we'll try to get it resolved for you.
