DETAILS:

RTD2014: Bigger than ever, designed from the ground up to help
you go Further, Faster.

Missouri S&T will be hosting the fourth annual Research &
Technology Development conference (RTD2014) on September 15-16,
2014 in Rolla, Missouri.

Due to our partnership with corporate sponsors, the conference is
free to attendees, but registration is required.

In addition to extensive networking opportunities, this year's
conference will feature two days of useful workshops and
presentations in each of three distinct research pillars:
Computational Science, Large Data Visualization, and Additive
Manufacturing.

All three pillars are being presented by experts in the field
across the Midwest.

Six universities are joining to lead the coordination of
workshops, talks, presentations, and hands-on demonstrations:

* University of Oklahoma and University of Nebraska-Lincoln –
Computational Science

Engage in discussion with numerous experts and learn how working
collaboration efforts can guide you to increased research funding.

* Indiana University and University of Texas – Visualization

See and use a wide variety of visualization equipment, and learn
how you can use established visualization systems and tools in
your research.

* University of Louisville and Missouri S&T – Additive
Manufacturing

Learn the basics of additive manufacturing and gain insight into
how these systems can be used to advance your ideas, even if your
campus does not provide local printing services.

Each pillar will contain two days of workshops, hands-on
demonstrations and expert talks.

RTD's famous social – the street party with BBQ, fireworks, music,
and beer and wine tasting - gives you unlimited opportunity for
networking and good times.

Our attendees will also include experts from industry to answer
your technology questions.

This free event will be held on the S&T campus in Rolla, Missouri
at the Havener Center on September 15 & 16.

Space is limited and attendance has been capped at 350 for RTD2014.

While admission is free to attendees, registration is required and
early registration is encouraged to receive hotel discounts.
